This collection of interviews is not meant to replace the complete edition in two volumes of Perec’s interviews and lectures (Entretiens et conférences, 2003), but to offer a sample of Perec’s comments on his work and show his development as an artist from 1965, when his first novel Les Choses was published, to late 1981, a few months before his death.
